These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SongMuse, an AI music creation service for generating songs, lyrics, melodies, vocals, and related music assets. By using SongMuse, creating an account, starting a generation, or buying credits or a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use SongMuse.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You may use email/password login or supported social login providers. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for SongMuse or other users, or are used for abusive or unlawful activity.
SongMuse lets you submit prompts, lyrics, style descriptions, titles, settings, and audio references to generate music through AI providers. AI output is probabilistic. We do not guarantee that output will be unique, error-free, available forever, suitable for a specific purpose, or free from similarity to other works.
You are responsible for reviewing generated outputs before publishing, downloading, distributing, monetizing, or using them commercially. You are also responsible for obtaining any rights, licenses, or permissions needed for your inputs and intended use of outputs.
SongMuse uses credits for music generation and related tools. A generation may consume credits when it is submitted, even if you later decide not to use the result. If a provider request fails and SongMuse detects the failure, we may refund the charged credits according to the app logic and our records.
Paid subscriptions and credit packages are processed through Stripe. Prices, credit amounts, expiration rules, renewal terms, and available features are shown in the app or checkout flow. Taxes may apply.
Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, payments are not automatically refundable. You can manage subscriptions through the billing portal when available.
"Your Content" means prompts, lyrics, titles, style descriptions, uploaded audio, profile information, library data, and other materials you submit to SongMuse.
You keep the rights you have in Your Content. You grant SongMuse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, play, and modify Your Content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide SongMuse.
If you make a track, profile, or other content public, you also grant SongMuse a license to display, stream, promote, and distribute that public content inside SongMuse and related promotional surfaces.
Subject to these Terms, our provider terms, and applicable law, you may use generated outputs for personal or commercial projects. SongMuse does not grant you rights to third-party songs, recordings, lyrics, voices, names, likenesses, trademarks, or copyrighted materials that may be referenced in your inputs or outputs.
Because AI systems can produce similar outputs for different users, SongMuse does not guarantee exclusivity in any generated output.
You may not use SongMuse to:
We may remove content, restrict visibility, revoke credits, suspend generation, or terminate accounts when we believe these Terms have been violated.
Generated tracks may be public by default unless SongMuse provides and you select a private or unpublished option. Public content may appear in Explore, search, profile pages, recommendations, or other discovery surfaces.
You are responsible for what you publish. Do not publish content you do not have permission to share.
SongMuse relies on third-party providers, including AI music providers, Stripe, OAuth providers, email providers, hosting providers, storage providers, and analytics or security tools when enabled. Your use of SongMuse may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, model behavior, payment processor issues, provider callbacks, or content delivery failures that are outside our reasonable control.
If you believe content on SongMuse infringes your rights, contact us at support@songmuse.art with enough information to identify the content and explain your claim. We may remove or restrict content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
SongMuse is evolving. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, models, plans, pricing, credit rules, storage behavior, or public discovery surfaces at any time. We will try to avoid disrupting paid access unfairly, but we cannot guarantee that every feature or provider will remain available.
SongMuse is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
We do not guarantee that SongMuse will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that generated outputs will meet your expectations or legal requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SongMuse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of SongMuse.
Our total liability for any claim related to SongMuse will not exceed the amount you paid to SongMuse for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, or USD $100 if you did not pay us during that period.
You may stop using SongMuse at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a harmful way.
Termination does not cancel obligations that should reasonably survive, such as payment obligations, content licenses for public content already distributed, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related terms.
We may update these Terms as SongMuse changes. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here and update the effective date. Continued use of SongMuse after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
